On July 29, 2008, screenwriter Daniel Knauf announced he and his son and collaborator Charles Knauf had completed a four-hour TV-movie script for SCI FI Channel, later re-named SyFy, starring the 22nd Phantom. On March 23, 2009, Sci Fi Channel announced that they have formally ordered a 4-hour mini-series in two parts, which will also serve as a backdoor pilot. The mini-series is scheduled to air in 2010, and is produced by Muse Entertainment and RHI Entertainment.
The story sees law student Chris learning that he was adopted, and that he is actually the son of the Phantom. He joins the Phantom team in the jungles of Bengalla, and is trained in martial arts and combat, emerging as the next Phantom to battle the trained assassins of the Singh Brotherhood. The Phantom costume has been heavily modified for the screen.

One of the people there was director Bryan Singer, who directed X-Men and X2: X-Men United for Avatar distributor 20th Century Fox at the start of the decade. In recent interviews, Singer has been asked about possibly directing the planned prequel X-Men: First Class, and he always seemed interested, but earlier this evening he let slip that he has in fact just signed the deal with Fox to direct the next "Origins" film, which will reportedly look at the early days of Cyclops, Jean Grey and others at the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning.
Here's what should be the final teaser poster for Kick Ass released by Lionsgate. It shows Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz) the foul mouth deadly assassin that happens to be eleven year old Mindy Macready. A twisted, funny, high-octane adventure, director Matthew Vaughn brings KICK-ASS to the big screen. KICK-ASS tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name — Kick-Ass — assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers.
His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes — including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz) and herfather, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) — and forges a friendship with another fledgling superhero, Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). But thanks to the scheming of a local mob boss Frank D’Amico (Mark Strong), that new alliance will be put to the test.
and I gotta say if you look close there are a couple of teases of things possibly to come, such as Two-Face, Penguin and Black Mask. along with Halo: Reach, and Star Wars: Force Unleashed II super excited about each with hitting our next gen systems.

The plot of Kick-Ass concerns a lonely teenage boy, Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), who decides to become a real-life superhero after being inspired by the heroes of comic-books. He soon encounters a mysterious vigilante called Big-Daddy (Nicolas Cage), and his daughter Hit Girl (Chloë Moretz), who are working to bring down the drug baron Frank D'Amico.
The rights to a film version of the comic book were sold before the first issue was published. When the film is released there will be less than twelve issues of the comic in print. The script for the film was reportedly written in May 2008, and filming occurred in late 2008 to early 2009. In an interview with Total Film, Aaron Johnson confirmed that the film will stay true to the adult nature of the comic series by featuring a large amount of profanity and graphic violence and that it had already received an R rating by the MPAA. Yancy Butler (of the television series Witchblade) also appears as Angie D'Amico, Frank's wife and the mother to the Red Mist. This is her first theatrical film since Drop Zone (1994).Filming locations include Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, at Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School.

From the looks of this somebody has a hard on for Tony Stark. this isn't anything we haven't seen before just in movie poster style. I have heard a lot of complaints regarding Mickey Rourke costume wise as Whiplash but with this being the characters debut it makes since to me that he wouldn't come out fully armored up and it can't be as bad as the Blacklash from the Iron Man animated series on the 1994 Marvel Action hour. So give a go and if its anything like the first movie I think we will be pleasantly surprised. The World’s Greatest Detective is facing his toughest mystery.
Lost in the timestream, believed to be dead by his friends and enemies alike, Bruce Wayne must use every bit of intelligence, every ounce of strength and training he’s acquired over the years to find his way back to the city, and adopted family of vigilantes, he’d left behind.
Blasted by the mysterious and powerful Omega Effect in the pages of FINAL CRISIS during a deadly battle with the malevolent New God Darkseid, Bruce Wayne must battle back through the waves of time to reclaim what was his – his city, his life…his cowl?
From the kinetic and awe-inspiring imagination of writer Grant Morrison and an all-star cast of artists, including Chris Sprouse, who’ll handle art chores on the first issue, BATMAN: THE RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE #1 (of 6) hits in April and will prove to be Bruce Wayne’s defining moment as a hero, and his toughest challenge yet.

Joe Quesada variant covers to "Siege"

James Cawley, whose Cawley Entertainment Company had obtained the rights to the character created back in 1928, said he was aiming for a "retro-contemporary" look to the show. But what exactly did that mean? And he also announced that he hoped to release 20 Buck Rogers episodes a year, starting in late in 2010.
Still on the fence about this one I think I'll wait to see more.
