"Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" hits DVD and Blu-Ray September 28, but we have an exclusive peek at a new scene from the much-anticipated DC animated feature. Even better, the scene is introduced by "Firefly" actress Summer Glau, who voices Supergirl in the movie.
The latest of DC/Warner Bros. popular animated features, "Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" is based on the "Superman/Batman" comic book arc written by Jeph Loeb and illustrated by Michael Turner and Peter Steigerwald. Along with Glau, the all-star cast features returning Superman and Batman actors Tim Daly and Kevin Conroy, respectively, as well as Ed Asner ("Up") as Granny Goodness.
"Superman/Batman: Apocalypse" is produced by Bruce Timm and directed by Lauren Montgomery ("Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths") from a script by Tab Murphy ("Gorillas in the Mist").
The film will make its big-screen premiere tonight, September 21, in Los Angeles and September 23 in New York City, and get its wide release on DVD and Blu-Ray a week later on September 28.
