the "Halo Legends" episode entitled “The Prototype,” was animated at Bones Studio in Japan under the creative supervision of co-directors Tomoki Kyoda/Yasushi Muraki.
In "The Prototype," human marines struggling to defend a secret weapons research facility from invading Covenant troops are finally ordered to destroy everything rather than let the weapons and valuable navigational data fall into the hands of the Covenant. In a desperate but noble sacrifice, a war-torn officer dons the prototype suit of powered armor being developed at the facility in a last-second gambit to buy time for his soldiers to escape. The episode plays to the strengths of Bones’ impressive ability to represent aerial and mecha-style combat.

When given an assignment to assassinate a high-ranking Covenant Prophet, a four-man team of ODSTs must accept a Spartan Sniper to their strike force. Each discipline learns something important about the other as the mission progresses into hostile territory - and old rivalries must be reexamined if the mission is to succeed. The episode emphasizes the differences in ability and style between the two soldier types, and features a few familiar faces – Dutch from Halo 3: ODST and his teammates Private O'Brien, Master Sergeant Cortez and Corporal Checkman.

The multiplayer maps originally included in Halo 3: ODST will soon be available for all. Microsoft today announced the Halo 3 Mythic 2 Map Pack will be available for download on Feb. 2, 2010 at 800 Microsoft points.
The download pack contains these three maps:
~ Heretic brings players to familiar ground as the "Halo 2" arena Midship returns in "Halo 3." The stark interior of the Pious Inquisitor might appear austere on first glance, but Heretic's symmetrical spaces require players to execute complex strategies in order to outplay their opponents.

ENI has the dvd specs for Halo Legends due out in Feb 9th 2010 a series of seven short anime films, Financed by 343 Industries, the animation was created by five Japanese production houses: Bones, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio 4°C, and Toei Animation. Shinji Aramaki, creator and director of Appleseed and Appleseed Ex Machina, serves as the project's creative director. Warner Bros. will distribute Legends on DVD and Blu-ray in early 2010, Six of the stories are officially part of the Halo canon, with the seventh, made by Toei, is intended to be a parody of the universe.

I had Halo 2 for X-box lingering around the house so I decided to get rid of it. My first instinct to get rid of used games have always been my local Gamestop but to my surprise I was met with a stern "we don't take those here" from the clerk, asking why would not appease my curiosity because I only got a "we just don't" so what was I to do with a game I haven't played in over a year for a system I no longer own. The answer came from my wife as she asked me "doesn't Toys R Us take trade ins now?" so that as our next destination. Once arriving it was just as the reports said
