The storyline for the series was created by noted comic book scribe Warren Ellis and appears to be heavily influenced from the Grant Morrison New X-Men run as well as Joss Whedon’s two year stint on Astonishing X-Men. The series takes place one year after the death of Jean Grey and the dissolution of the team.
If you read comic books then this series might interest you even more since the anime will be loosely based on the first arc of the 2004's Astonishing X-Men series. The anime will begin on April 1st and will be broadcast on G4TV later this year. Any of you interested in this anime adaptation?

With all the powers of a vampire with none of their weaknesses, Blade's quest for vengeance leads him throughout Southeast Asia in search of Frost, where, in Vietnam, he discovers a vampire plot that threatens to take down the whole world.
The new series will be produced by Madhouse for Marvel Entertainment in association with Sony Pictures Television, Inc, and will make their exclusive U.S. TV Premiere on G4 in 2011.

IGN is reporting that Konami has confirmed it will release X-Men Arcade for Xbox Live Arcade next week on Wednesday, Dec. 15. Pricing details have not been revealed.
The publisher was unable to comment when PlayStation Network will see the game, but we should know more soon.
This re-release of the popular 1992 arcade title includes four-player local, six-player online, and drop-in multiplayer support. X-Men Arcade will also have high-definition menus and online leaderboards. check out the debut trailer below.

Marvelites, rejoice! Konami Digital Entertainment will release the classic "X-Men" arcade game originally released in 1992 for the very first time outside of arcades, making it available on both the PlayStation Network as well as Xbox LIve Arcade in Fall 2010!
In "X-Men Arcade," Cyclops, Colossus, Dazzler, Nightcrawler, Storm and Wolverine unite to use their special powers to save mankind from the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and other terrible threats. Players will have to fight off hundreds of Sentinels, along with Super Villains such as Pyro, the Blob, Wendigo, Nimrod, the White Queen, Juggernaut and Mystique, as they battle their way to Island M to take down the Master of Magnetism, Magneto, and save Kitty Pryde and Professor Xavier.
"X-Men Arcade" brings the fun and excitement of the hit arcade game to next-generation consoles as players can engage in multiplayer action with 1-4 players supported locally and 1-6 players supported online. Online drop-in multiplayer is activated, allowing anyone to jump in on the battle at any time. High-definition heads-up displays, menus and local/online leaderboards have also been integrated to track statistics and scores.
Players will be able to select the Custom Match Mode that will allow them to choose the kind of session they would like to join by setting the amount of players, difficulty and what level to start in to create a truly unique online experience. Players will also have the ability to select the Create Match Mode where they can establish themselves as the host and have the ability to control incoming players, number of players, difficulty setting, and starting level to have complete veto power over the match. For players looking for the ultimate X-Men challenge, multiple difficulty modes will also be available.

Collider is reporting that Four brand new Iron Man, Blade, Wolverine, and X-Men series will all appear on the G4 TV network in the U.S. in 2011, according to a press release they received.
According to information Collider gathered that Warren Ellis wrote 12 different 30-minute episodes based off of various storylines already in existence that were intended for the south east Asian market. According to Ellis, "will either be dubbed or subtitled." They are being made by Madhouse in Japan, and it will be in anime style.
Ellis seems to be happy that they are going to see release here in the U.S.
"As I say, these were commissioned and created specifically for the south east Asian market. But it’s nice that they’ll get some form of English-language airing too."
"Because I knew the process in advance, the outlines were really just plot, pacing and colour. I imagine and expect that I’ve been seriously rewritten in places by the actual writers, which is fine and all part of the process."

And when the reactor-in-construction is repeatedly attacked by the mysterious Zodiac consortium, Stark must gather his allies to take on Zodiac and its mastermind.

Okay, I'm getting tired of seeing this guy and I'm not afraid to admit that at one point in time i was a fan of Wolverine but when marvel started to try and capitalize on him and placing him in every corner of their universe then i got a little tired of seeing him. Mr. Howlett here also joined the New Avengers back in 2005 of course he could be part of a team Dynamic he's practically part of every team in the Marvel Universe.Wolverine is a fictional Canadian character who appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Born as James Howlett in the 1880s, and commonly known as Logan, Wolverine is a mutant, possessing animal-keen senses, enhanced physical capabilities, retracting bone claws, and a healing factor that allows him to quickly recover from virtually any wound, disease or toxin. The healing factor also slows down his aging process, enabling him to live beyond a normal human lifespan. This healing ability enabled the supersoldier program Weapon X to bond the near indestructible metal alloy adamantium to his skeleton and claws without killing him. He is most often depicted as a member of the X-Men.
Wolverine first appeared in the final "teaser" panel of The Incredible Hulk #180 (cover date Oct. 1974) written by Len Wein and penciled by Herb Trimpe. The character then appeared in a number of advertisements in various Marvel Comics publications in early July (cover date November) before making his first major appearance in Hulk #181 (cover date November 1974) again by Wein and Trimpe. John Romita, Sr. designed Wolverine's yellow-and-blue costume. The character's introduction was ambiguous, revealing little beyond his being a superhuman agent of the Canadian government. In these appearances, he does not retract his claws, although Len Wein stated they had always been envisaged as retractable. He appears briefly in the finale to this story in Hulk #182.
Wolverine is a mutant with a number of both natural and artificial improvements to his physiology. His primary mutant power is an accelerated healing process, typically referred to as his mutant healing factor, that regenerates damaged or destroyed tissues of his body far beyond the capabilities of an ordinary human. This power facilitated the artificial improvements he was subjected to under the Weapon X program, in which his skeleton was reinforced with the indestructible metal adamantium.
Wolverine's mutation also consists of animal-like adaptations of his body, including pronounced canines and three retractable claws housed within each forearm. While originally depicted as bionic implants created by the Weapon X program, the claws are later revealed to be a natural part of his body. The claws are not made of keratin, as claws tend to be in the animal kingdom, but extremely dense bone, and can cut substances as durable as most metals, wood, and some varieties of stone. They can also be used to block attacks or projectiles, as well as dig into surfaces allowing Wolverine to climb structures. Wolverine's hands do not have openings for the claws to move through: they cut through his flesh every time he extrudes them, with occasional references implying that he feels a moment of intense pain each and every time he does so.

Anyway marvel released this teaser image that doesn't really say much, especially when you take into account the images they've been releasing over the last few weeks involving "The Second Coming"
Second Coming will be the final part of a trilogy of stories that began with Messiah Complex and continued in Messiah War. Intended as a conclusion to Cable's efforts to save Hope from Bishop, who has hunted the so called Mutant Messiah since her birth; the series also builds on the Utopia, Nation X and Necrosha storylines of 2009 in the X-Men books. The story centers on the return of Cable and Hope Summers to the present day and Bastion's final campaign to destroy the X-Men.
The X-Men are a superhero team in the Marvel Comics Universe. They were created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, and first appeared in The X-Men #1 (September 1963). Under a cloud of increasing anti-mutant sentiment, Professor Xavier created a haven at his Westchester mansion to train young mutants to use their powers for the benefit of humanity, and to prove mutants can be heroes. Xavier recruited Cyclops, Iceman, Angel, Beast and Jean Grey, calling them "X-Men" because they possess special powers due to their possession of the "X-Gene", a gene normal humans lack but which gives Mutants their abilities. Early on, however, the "X" in X-Men stood for "extra" power which normal humans lacked. It was alluded to that the mutations were incurred as a result of radiation exposure. All five original X-Men, including Professor Xavier were stated to be the children of parents who worked on atomic weapons for the United States military.
Early issues introduced the team's arch enemy, Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants, who would continue to battle the X-Men for decades throughout the comic's history. The X-Men comics have been adapted into other media, including animated television series, video games, and a successful series of films.
Well one good thing may have come out of James Cameron's Avatar, at its premiere in Los Angeles tonight, and MySpace had a television crew on-hand at the "blue carpet" to interview arrivals.

On Friday Nov 6th marvel released two more teaser images from the upcoming storyline "SIEGE" beginning in december. The image shows a Norman Osborn on his throne which seems to be a reused cover from Dark X-Men beginnings #3 that dropped Aug 26 2009. The tag for this teaser reads "Who is Normans secret weapon" and has monitor images of (from left to right) Odin, The Beyonder, Scarlet Witch, Diablo, Thanos, X-Man, and Mephisto make of it what you will. Both the cover to Dark X-Men beginnings #3 and The "Siege" teaser image are up for comparison.
