The Losers is based of a comic book series published by the Vertigo imprint of DC Comics, written by Andy Diggle and illustrated, for the most part, by Jock. It ran for 32 issues from August 2003 to March 2006. Privateer Press has just announced that the highly anticipated Voltron: Defender of the Universe battle miniatures game for Monsterpocalypse will be released July 2010 with an MSRP of $49.99.

Cold Space is a new comic book series co-written by Samuel L Jackson and Eric Calderon drawn by Jeremy Rock, to be published in April by Boom! Studios. Jackson and Calderon have previously worked on the Afro Samurai animation but this is their first comic book together. And the central character, an on-the-run-outlaw crashlanded on a planet in the middle of a civil war, is modelled on Samuel L Jackson himself. Is a TV series/movie franchise in the offing here? Samuel Jackson was the art-model for Nick Fury in the Ultimates comic book, which saw him cast in the role for Iron Man, Hulk and upcoming Thor and Avengers movies. Bleeding Cool recently broke the story of Vinnie Jones doing this with Howard Chaykin, for the Noble comic book/TV series, who is next?
Australia got this first, not sure why, maybw atest market to see if it will fly in the U.S. Supposedly this is supposed to be airing on BET as there first animated program ever but haven;t been able to find any concrete info on it though. Deadline is reporting that Millennium Films, Lionsgate, and rights holder Paradox Entertainment have approved Jason Momoa to star in Conan, the rebirth of the Robert E. Howard-created series. The brawny star of StargateAtlantis who also stars in HBO's Game of Thrones.Sources said that director Marcus Nispel was sold on Momoa, and won over the filmmakers by shooting a few trial scenes that allowed Momoa to wield a sword and behave very Schwarzenegger-like.

The multiplayer maps originally included in Halo 3: ODST will soon be available for all. Microsoft today announced the Halo 3 Mythic 2 Map Pack will be available for download on Feb. 2, 2010 at 800 Microsoft points.

We picked up a clip from DC animated film Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. lot of characters will be in this feature as well as some evil counter parts, It will be just fun trying to figure who is the evil doppelganger for who. I was reserving judgment about this until i saw the trailer. Its a casting gold mine with Liem Neeson, and MMA fighter Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and the trailer just cemented my ticket purchase.

DC Entertainment's announcements of the DCU 2010 landscape continue on today courtesy of DCU Blog The Source, with news of the return of a book, team, and creative team. Birds of Prey, canceled in the reshuffling of the Batman family of comics in Spring 2009, is returning Spring 2010.
Gail Simone is at the helm as writer, returning to the book that is largely responsible for her success at DC. Her original artist for the series, Ed Benes, is also returning to the series. It will relaunch with a new number 1. Familiar members Oracle, Black Canary, Huntress, and Lady Blackhawk will be joined by at least two other members, currently blacked out on the cover art released with the announcement.
With the final teaser image filled out and dropped off for Marvels upcoming Ultimate X series, we may not know who everyone is but we definitely recognize that massive mountain of grey muscle bringing up the rear, or so we like to think. Solicitation for the issue reads:

Last Final Fantasy I played was seven, and man did I have to invest some time into that. But this trailer is outstanding, its truthfully a work of art on its own. "Earlier reports had pegged the choice of villain as one of the primary obstacles to "Spider-Man 4" production, with Raimi and the studio differing over potential casting that, most recently, included John Malkovich as winged villain the Vulture.
Earlier Monday, a report surfaced that Malkovich had confirmed his involvement in the film now leaving many questions regarding his attachment to a new film.

Natasha Romanoff has been many things over her decades-long career: Soviet super spy, crime-fighting super hero and even a top ranking agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. However, this April, the sexy spider weaves her web in brand new territory when she stars in her very own self-titled ongoing series written by Marjorie Liu.
"I'm intrigued that she has no powers beyond her own natural, human abilities and yet, she manages to hold her own against immensely powerful individuals, who are intimated by her, and who respect her," says Liu of her series' star. "She's incredibly confident, totally in control-ruthless, pragmatic, fiercely intelligent. And she can kill you with her pinky. What's not to like?
"Liu plans on immediately putting Natasha's countless skills to the test beginning with the very first issue, which sets the dark and gritty tone of the series. The fourth installment in the "Pirates" franchise did not previously have a release date.

Yeah I've been out of it for a while but lets get back into it, I have a gargantuan amount of content to drop today so lets start with the teaser images. Marvel posted this teaser image on Jan 7th with the tag "It's Time to Save the World."

Marvel dropped the completed puzzle teaser image for the Year of the Spider-Man check it out below and afterwards we'll go over what we have.
finally we see who Spidey is reaching for and its good ole Mary Jane Watson, and look what she's in a; wedding dress, could this finally be an explanation of why they didn't make it to the alter...besides the whole Mephisto fiasco. And if you take a closer look towards the top of the image there is a baby in there could this be the same kid that's been in comic limbo for i don't know how long. maybe they will bring that storyline to a close.
